"Judi, I have so many wonderful memories of both your mother and father. Remembering the sleepovers on Mathewson Ln, getting our act together to audition for your dad\'s show, ironing our hair. Such fun. And many years later, dancing with Ann at Christies, and she wouldn\'t let me off the dance floor! Such energy! She was so wonderful and always smiling! She will be missed."

"I knew Ann as a resident in the same nursing home my husband was in for almost five years until his passing two years ago this September. She would often smile and say a few words to me as I visited my husband twice a day. I was sorry to read of her passing in The Newport Daily News and want to express my sympathy to her family. "

"Reading the obituary of Ann Kroll in the Barrington Times brought back memories. I never met Ann, but I knew her. I knew her as a young blond woman sweeping her front porch on their red ranch house on Fairview Avenue in Secaucus. My father was building his house two doors down.. Later I worked at Schelling?s Hardware store at 734 Willow Avenue in Hoboken in which Jay had worked the phones. He had recently departed before my arrival to pursue his career in radio and television in Rhode Island. Years later when we moved to Barrington, I stopped in say hello to Jay. Again, I never met Ann, but I wish that I had. Bill Oehlkers"
