Willie "Woody" Ray Temple, Jr., 22, of Fort Dodge passed away unexpectedly on September 2, 2020.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at Lighthouse Ministries with Kelly Moore officiating. Burial will follow at North Lawn Cemetery. A visitation will be 4:00 to 8:00 PM Monday at Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home.
Woody is survived by his parents, Angela Davis and Demetrius Gully; girlfriend, Libbie Lowry; biological father, Willie Temple, Sr.; siblings, Javion Davis, Ashley Davis-Gully and her children, Kae'liix, Cortrelle, and Laila, and Neveah Gully; extended siblings, Davion, Colten, Demetria, KeErica, Blake, Tyree, Derrique, Jaheim, Davaris, and Alivia; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Donna Mosley; grandfather, Johnnie Stallings, great-grandparents, KD and Ruby Davis and Fannie Mae and Lester Jones; and a great-aunt, Gayle Andrews.
Willie Ray Temple, Jr. was born July 28, 1998 in Des Moines. He attended schools in Fort Dodge from elementary through Fort Dodge Senior High School. He was employed with Hamilton Redi-Mix laying concrete. In his free time, he enjoyed video gaming; especially the game Fortnite and spending time with his family and girlfriend Libbie. He could always be found listening to old school rap and hanging out with his friends drinking Busch Light. He loved everyone and truly was a Gentle Giant. He will be terribly missed by everyone who knew him. All who were lucky enough to spend time and share their lives with Woody will have fond memories and always keep them close to their hearts.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to family discretion.
