Patricia A. (Wicevich) Wooddell
Pat A. (Wicevich) Wooddell, of St. David, passed away peacefully at 1:45 p.m. on Monday, September 7, 2020 at The Loft in Canton, Illinois.
She was born on March 4, 1943 in Canton, to August and Ida (Oliver) Wicevich, who preceded her in death.
She married the love of her life, Larry B. Wooddell Sr. on April 6, 1963 in St. David. They were married for 50 years before his passing on March 4, 2014.
Pat is survived by two children, Brooks Wooddell of St. David, and Stacey Wooddell of Lewistown. Two beloved grandchildren Krista Pascal of Lewistown and Will Pascal of Lewistown. She also left behind six great grandchildren whom she adored. Pat is also survived by one sister, Shirley (Ed Hoffman) Wicevich of Canton, and one brother Bill (Becki Lester) Wicevich of Cave Creek Arizona, and several nieces and nephews. She loved her family dearly.
Pat was a life - long resident of St. David. She was an LPN at Sunset Manor in Canton until her retirement in 2008. When she received employee of the month, it stated that she loved the patients and always put their well being first. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, sister - in - law, aunt and friend to many. She loved laughing and reminiscing about her golfing years and her golf buddies at Wee-Ma-Tuk Country Club, her bunco group, bowling and softball leagues. She was proud of her Croatian roots and loved cooking and eating some of the typical Croatian dishes. Rest easy Pat, you are at peace now and we will never forget you.
A visitation will be held on Friday, September 11, 2020 at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton, from 1 until 3 p.m.
A graveside service will held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at White Chapel Memory Gardens in Canton.
Memorials may be made to the St. David Optimist Club or to Fulton County Humane Society.
