Deanna Stambaugh
Canton - Deanna Stambaugh, 72, of Canton passed away on September 7, 2020 at her residence. She was born on October 23, 1947 in Canton to Harold D. and Deloris J. (Silverstine) Gibson. Deanna married Keith M. Stambaugh on December 27, 1963. He preceded her in death on May 2, 2011. Also preceding in death is one sister Judy Anderson and two grandchildren. Surviving are two children; Rodney K. (Sue) Stambaugh and Teresa K. (Ken) Johnson both of Canton, one brother Harold D. "Dean" Gibson of Canton, seven grandchildren; Adam Stambaugh, Kera Stambaugh, Kristen Spague, Eli Stambaugh, Kyle Johnson, Angela Johnson and Tiffany Ward, eight great-grandchildren, two brother-in-law's; Don Stambaugh of Cuba and Tom Stambaugh of Canton, and five nieces and nephews.
Deanna worked as a coordinator for Head Start and was a member of the Women of the Moose. Her full time job was her family. She was a loving wife, mother, and aunt. Deanna loved hosting family gatherings and holiday dinners. She was a supportive friend to many in need of rides to doctors and shopping trips.
Graveside services will be 11 am Thursday, September 17, 2020 at Locust Lane Cemetery in rural Canton. Cremation rites have been accorded. Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton is in charge of arrangements. To make online condolences please visit www.oakshinesfuneralhome.com
