Dale T. Stucky was born August 1, 1952 in Fort Dodge. As a young boy he and his family moved to Laurens and he graduated from Laurens High School. He then attended Iowa Central Community College. On June 14, 1975, Dale married Karen Crimmins. They made their home, Fort Dodge. For over 40 years Dale owned and operated Dale's Petroleum. Dale could and would talk to anyone. He had words of encouragement even for strangers. If you were not infected by his smile a quick joke would get a smirk across your face. The phrase "family man" was Dale's best description. He was the proudest father and grandfather anyone could find. Work or play Dale was there, supporting his family and loving every minute of it. He will be tremendously missed by his church, community, friends, and especially his family.
Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.

"Thoughts and prayers are with the Stucky family at this sad time. Although I don?t know this young man who was taken from his loving family way to young, my heart goes out to all of you. I graduated Laurens in 1954 so don?t remember the Stucky family but recognized the name as I have heard some of my family (the Leo and Edna Hanish?s) visit about Stuckys. Tonight we were with Humboldt friends. They talked about Sam Stucky (favorably) being a friend of their relatives, Paul & Joann Ankiker who had a grocery story in West Bend. Love the connections made through internet. May your loved on R.I.P. "
