Deborah Lynne Hennings, 56, of Fort Dodge passed away September 11, 2020 at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home.
A celebration of life will be at a later date. Laufersweiler Funeral Home is serving the family.
Deborah is survived by her husband, Eric; daughters, Amy Lynne; Lara Elizabeth; Sarah Jeanene; grandchildren, Jayce; Hannah; Dane; mother, Jeanene Tarvin; brothers, David (Anita) Harris; Bernie (Kathy) Harris and Mike Harris.
She is preceded in death by her father, Guy H. Tarvin.
Deborah was born on March 17, 1964 in Sioux City, IA. When she was young, she and her family moved to Fort Dodge. She graduated from FDSH in 1982, going on to earn her nursing degree from Iowa Central. She worked for many years as a registered nurse in and around the Fort Dodge area.
Deborah can be described in one word, awesome. She had a true enjoyment for life. Her free spirit and sense of humor made her easily lovable and memorable to all those who had the honor to know her. She was a free spirit with an infectious smile and she always tried to lend a helping hand even if she didn't have much to offer. She recently found immense happiness when she married Eric Hennings on July 19, 2019. She will be missed dearly by all.
Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
