Sandy was born at St. Mary's hospital in Rochester, MN on July 3, 1955. She grew up in Wykoff, MN with her parents and three brothers. She moved to Rochester, MN in 1975 where she worked at Norwest Bank in mortgage lending. On June 1, 1984 she married Doug Dose, a farmer and realtor. They went on to have four children and six grandchildren. In 1991, they opened Choose and Cut Fraser Firs that is now in its 29th year of business. Together with their children, they also operated a successful produce business. Sandy also played a vital role in Doug Dose Reality and managed several rental properties in Rochester, MN. Sandy was a devoted mother and wife who loved her family. She felt most at home when cooking or baking in the kitchen or caring for the flowers and birds in her yard. She enjoyed exploring the outdoors and had fond memories of visiting Forestville State Park with her family growing up. She made it a priority to offer the same experiences she had as a child to her children and grandchildren. She was a history buff who loved science fiction and was often found with a book in her hand. Sandy was a spiritual woman who was involved in many activities in her St. Francis of Assisi Church community. She was blessed with a beautiful singing voice that she shared with others in various church choirs over the years. To say that Sandy will be missed by her family and friends is an understatement.
