Ann Boyd
March 14, 1927 - September 13, 2020

Ann Marie Boyd, 93, of Rochester, passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2020 at Cottagewood Senior Living Communities.
Ann was born March 14, 1927 in Little Chute, WI to George and Alma (Schlueter) Roehrick. Ann was a 1945 graduate of Faribault High School and went on to work as a telephone operator in Faribault. She married Donald Johnson on October 25, 1947 in Faribault, where she then stayed home and raised her family. Later, Ann went to work for the Faribault Ben Franklin store for 14 years. Her husband, Donald died July 25, 1986. On November 25, 1988, she married Donald Boyd and then she moved to Rochester. She was a past member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Faribault until she moved to Rochester, where she became a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church. Ann enjoyed cooking, baking, baseball and playing cards.
Ann is survived by her husband, Don of Rochester; children, Sandra (Lawrence) Sandoval of Savage, MN, Mary Van Erp of Faribault, MN, Barbara (Roger) Riesen of Machesney Park, IL and Steven (Julie) Johnson of Faribault, MN; 15 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; 10 great, great-grandchildren; sister, Lois (Richard) Norby of Rochester, MN and brother, Eugene "Bud" (Patricia) Roehrick of Burnsville, MN. Ann was preceded in death by her first husband, Donald Johnson; 3 sisters and 4 brothers.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 17, 2020 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Home, 5421 Royal Place NW, Rochester. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until; time of the service. Rev. Adam Koglin will be officiating with burial at Meadow Ridge Cemetery in Faribault. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cottagewood Senior Living Communities or to the Alzheimer's Association.
