Daniel J. McCollum, Jr., "Dan", on September 12, 2020, of Glassboro; formerly of Millville, Haddon Heights, and Washington Twp. Age 73.

Loving husband of Jeannine (nee Simrin). Devoted father of Kristina, Daniel, and the late Jennifer Burleigh. Cherished grandfather of Joseph F. Burleigh, Danielle Dagostino (Layne), and Kailee McCollum and great grandfather of Benjiman and Meadow. Dear brother of Deborah Pollitt (Edward), Leslie McCollum (Rick Emilson), Jeffrey McCollum, and Peter McCollum. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Dan loved swimming, golfing, visiting the beach, traveling, reading, and music. He also loved his pets.

Dan was the former Director of Resource Planning and Analysis at the University of Pennsylvania and was former comptroller of the Wharton School of Business. Dan was well versed and respected in computer technology as well. He taught many staff members the new systems during his career at Penn.

The family will have a gathering at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dan's memory to your favorite animal shelter.
