Isiah Hill
August 7, 1939 - September 11, 2020

Isiah "Ike" Hill, 81, of Fort Dodge died September 11, 2020 at Trinity Regional Medical Center.
Services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 18, 2020 at Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home. Burial will be at Pilgrim Rest Cemetery, Wilson, Louisiana. A visitation will be one-hour prior at the funeral home.
Mr. Isiah Hill was born in Wilson, Louisiana on August 7, 1939. He was the 16th child of a family of 18 born to his parents, William and Iva (Williams) Hill. Isiah told his life stories of being a very intelligent young man and a great football player while attending Jackson High School in Jackson, LA. He moved to Fort Dodge, IA in the early 1960's. He worked at a few manufacturing companies before joining Chicago North Western Railroads, later becoming Union Pacific. He retired after 31 years of service. Isaiah loved to bowl especially with his friends, Sonny Grady and Don Dillard. His bowling highlight was bowling a perfect 300 and receiving an award ring. He also like fishing with his buddies, Lemon Preston, Smitty Thedford, and Travis Hunter. He even began ice fishing with Ronnie Preston "Bobo". He also liked to hunt and garden in his past time.
He has now has entered into Paradise with his parents, William and Iva Hill; brothers, Eric, John, Richard, George, Russell, Clarence, William Jr., Everett, Boston 1st, Boston 2nd; sisters, Claudia, Catherine, Matlean, Julia Hill and his son, Ernest Mosley.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his beloved wife Mattie S. Mosley-Hill; sons, Reo (Yolanda) Mosley, Christopher Mosley, Charles Mosley, Chad Grady; daughters, Phyllis (Steven) Payton, Renetta (Rick) Pate, Alice Mosley-Rose, Wanda Mosley; brother, Louis Hill; sisters, Louise Hill, Patricia Hill, a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends
