Crystal Fields Shappee

Crystal age 45 of Wolf Lake, passed away the morning of September 5th, 2020. Crystal was nothing less than the strong fighter for herself and her family. Crystal battled and fought her battle for 11 years. A FIGHTER is was she will always be. She passed peacefully at home with her family by her side. Crystal was born January 1st, 1975 in Ypsilanti, Mi. Crystal was employed at Howmet (arconic) in Whitehall, MI.

Crystal loved going camping, kayaking, watching Michigan State football and Detroit Tigers baseball. She loved traveling and spending time enjoying her family. She was always the one she wanted to have a good time and enjoy herself. Crystal always had a wild side to her. Her favorite thing was to to spend time with the grandbabies. They were her rays of sunshine. Christmas was Crystal's favorite time of the year.

Survived by her three children: Jenna Shappee, Katlin Williams (Shappee), Iceton Shappee; Parents: Steve and Debbie Matthews; Grandmother: Verna Fields;
Brother: Steven Matthews; Sister: Melissa Matthews; Grandchildren: Paisley Williams, Ryder Fields; along with many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and many loving friends.

She will be greatly missed by many people there will be a celebration of life that will be later announced for everyone.

"I will allwats rember when crystal was 13 on her basketball at school went to pick up couldnt find her i was roaming the hall at the school with her mom so i started acting i i was crazy she came out seen me i embarrassed her she was mad a little bit lol but we laughed about it for years ill never forget that day and never forget crystal Rip and uncle brad loves ya"
