Oliver was adopted with his brother Leica as a bonded pair and was a very shy, scared kitten. It took him days before he was even brave enough to come near his adopted human family, and weeks to feel comfortable in his new home.
Once he felt safe at home, he showed us who he really was. Through his endless happiness and positive energy, he warmed the whole house; our home became his entire world, and he loved his world. He was never too tired to play, he loved to explore and run, and be around everyone. He would run to the door to be the first to greet you, excited that you were home, eager to have you back inside his world.
Oliver lived every day as if he didn't have many. He was kind, loving, affectionate, playful, and happy. He truly lived the best life he could. His indomitable spirit will be dearly missed, but we take comfort that his spirit has surely taken another form and is already providing joy and comfort to others.
Oliver is survived by his brother and best friend, Leica, his adopted brother Jackson, and his human family."
