Robert " Leo" Hunt
June 14, 1930 - September 20, 2020
Robert "Leo" Hunt entered the pearly gates of heaven on September 20, 2020. Robert was born in Dayton, Oh on June 14, 1930.
Left behind to cherish his memory is his spouse of 50 years, Margo Vianello Hunt, his children Toby Hunt, Tina and Klaus Tuschmann, Toni and Rick Wheeler and Andy and Isahi Hunt. Robert had 7 grandchildren who he loved and adored greatly. Anyone who knew him knows he could talk for hours about how wonderful they are. Leaving behind to carry out his his legacy are Ryan, Jake, Maddy, Sammy, Olivia, Drew and Xaymara.
Bob had a lifelong career in education. He was a teacher at Purcell High School in Cincinnati, OH for 12 years, a Vice Principal of Booker High in Sarasota for 24 years, served on the Catholic School Board of Venice diocese for 8 yrs and was active in Caritas of St. Martha's Catholic Church. Bob "Leo" will be missed by many with whom he shared his kind, loving, positive, humorous spirit. Bob was one of a kind. We are sure the angels in heaven are celebrating his arrival in true Bob fashion. As they are celebrating in Heaven we would like to invite you to join us to celebrate his life on earth Thursday September 24th from 4-7pm at the Hyatt Regency Boat House Meeting Room 1000 Blvd of the Arts Sarasota Fl 34236.
Mass of "celebration of life" will take place at St. Martha Catholic Church 200 N Orange Ave. Sarasota, FL, 34236 on Thursday, September 24,2020 at 11:00am. In lieu of Flowers donations may be made to St. Martha Caritas.
