"We were ever so grieved to hear of David?s passing. My siblings and I all have fond memories? growing up in the same neighborhood. May God wrap his warm comforting arms around each of you at this heart wrenching time! Nothing, not even death can separate you from the strong bonds of love you shared. Nor can anything separate you from the love of God. May He fill the hole in your hearts with His healing love and everlasting peace. ?What we have once enjoyed we can never lose. All that we love deeply becomes a part of us. ? ( Helen Keller) We will continue to keep all of you in our prayers. Love, Cynthia ( Kirk) Garcia and family"

"The most we can hope in life is to be a good person and good friend and to leave an impact on those around you. Dave did all those things and from little league ball through all of life, Dave has been a good friend and person. I will miss him but all my thoughts and memories of him promote smiles and good times."

"My deepest sympathy to you all. Who would ever know what a golf ball would bring. I had just moved to FL and my car ate up my cash. I just landed a job when driving back, a golf ball hit my windshield. I was so mad, I drove up on the golf course yelling. Three guys with sun glasses on just stood there laughing. I just saw red. Then two of the guys, Tommy Wolf and yes, David Dahl came and hugged me and once I realized who they were, well, I can only say Dave became my roommate, my bestest friend and life in FL was never dull around David. He left and married Suggs and as always, friends move on. I'm am so thankful for the memories. My heartfelt condolences. RIP my dear dear funny friend."

"My deepest sympathy to Dave?s family. I spent many hours with him in high school back and forth to Boces and he was at my home almost daily for lunch. My parents thought they had another child ! He was my best guy friend at the time and we shared a lot of good times. Unfortunately we took different paths and grew apart but he never left my memories and never will . Rest In Peace Dave... fondly, Darlene Peterson Ross "
