"I am so sorry for your loss. I only knew her casually, but I understand what it is like to lose a loved one or a friend. It is another reminder, that we need to take time to share a touch and a smile whenever we have a chance, as time will carry on, and your chance may be missed. Many prayers for you who are grieving and missing her. She will be with you always, as I know she has touched the lives of many. Condolences to her family and many friends. "

"Jane, I just found out tonight and too late that we shared a family connection. A few hours ago I returned from Texas after burying my grandfather, Merle Bates. I was told that he was your uncle. This in turn means his brother John was also an uncle...he passed away 3 days before Merle. I wish I had met you since I have spent the last 18 years living in Monroe. Rest well, you have earned it. My condolences and prayers to the family. "

"I first met Janie when Pat & Dean got married. We were bored staying in her Grandpa Jim's house, so we went outside to play & run around the yard. I know Danielle enjoyed visiting with you whenever the two of you were in the hospital together. Janie was a very sweet person, & I know she will be dearly missed by the family. Rest in peace, Janie."

Julie Fidler Dixon wrote on Sep 28, 2020:

"Jane was one of the kindest, bravest and most determined people I have ever had the privilege of getting to know. She was a consummate advocate for others who have experienced a brain injury and for On With Life, fearlessly contacting legislators, public officials and potential supporters. Her tenacity was matched by her sweet and caring personality which impacted everyone who was lucky enough to meet her. In addition to her family and friends Jane will be sorely missed by the professionals who were lucky enough to work with her---and to be inspired by her unfailing drive to make the world a better place for everyone! Lisa Gregerson wrote on Sep 28, 2020:

"Michelle passed along the news of the passing. She was such a bright light and always put forth best efforts to accomplish a goal. Even during the times when goals weren't exactly aligned, she was all in and tried to meet both her goals and the company goals. Jane always had a smile waiting, even when she knew things weren't the best. She would do anything to bring a smile out of others as well. A rare soul that always put others first. This world has lost a good friend, but I sure bet AJ is loving his hugs about now. Ashley, I hope you can find comfort in knowing there is no pain, no limitations to what she can do now and no end to the love putting down on you from above. Lisa Gregerson"
