MUSCATINE, Iowa - George M. Lucas, 55, of Muscatine, passed away on Saturday, September 26, 2020, at his home.

There will be no services at this time. The Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to his family, in care of Shelly Lucas. Online condolences may be made at www.wittichfuneralhome.com.

George was born on July 18, 1965, in Muscatine, the son of Walter and Patricia Ann Tompkins Lucas. He married Ruth A. Wilson on April 21, 1986. They later divorced.

George worked for over 20 years as a supervisor at Northern Gravel. He later worked at HON. George enjoyed cats and having fish aquariums. He liked growing plants. George enjoyed being a Ham radio operator in his free time. Most of all, George loved his children and grandchildren.

George is survived by his children, Shelly Lucas of Muscatine, David Wilson and his wife, Amy, of Muscatine, and Larry Wilson; five grandchildren, Kylie, Lakin, Journey, Kinderley, and Brayden; five siblings, Steve Lucas and his wife, Joyce, Brian Lucas, Marlene Lucas, Robin Lucas and his wife, Marlene, and Brenda Roshard and her husband, Ben; three step-siblings, Kevin Stanbro, Marty Stanbro, and Darrell Stanbro; and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Kathy in 2013.
