"In the months that turned into years that our family was considering moves to Oakview, Sherry was there for us. She kept our phone numbers on her desk. Finally, it came to be that the moves were made and we had a friend in her. She, along with many others at Oakview made the moves easy, friendly and welcoming. "

"I enjoyed Sherry's spark for life. She was passionate about the injustice of different things and wouldn't let them be ignored. She confronted those who were mistreating others and tried to help make them right. She was a defender of the weak and those being mistreated. She could not stand by and allow the wrong to continue without trying to help make it right. I truly enjoyed her smile and laughter. God is holding her now. Our prayers continue for Stew, Olivia and Jack. May you know the strength of God's comfort and the fullness of His love as He carries you during this time. Veridee Hand"

"Our lives have crossed paths nearly our entire lives...from VBS at Liscomb Church of Christ, thru the school years - even though I was older - then as we started raising children three houses apart in Conrad.....from tumbling to track, football to softball - we cheered for our kids alongside each other. Sherry had such a big heart and always wanted to be helpful in her own ways. My heart goes out to Liv, Jack, Stew and Sherry's family - and the many friends who were impacted in Sherry's passing. Hugs and love to you. Jami"
