MUSCATINE, Iowa - Mabel 'Louise' Dingler, 79, of Muscatine, passed away on Sunday, September 27, 2020, at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf.

No service will be held at this time. Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Louise has donated her body to the University of Iowa Deeded Body Program. Online condolences may be made at www.wittichfuneralhome.com.

Louise was born on February 21, 1941, in Muscatine, the daughter of Elmer T. and Mabel J. Smith Reichert. She married Jesse L. Dingler Jr. in 1968.

She was a teacher in the Muscatine Community School District and the Indian Reservations in Arizona. Louise had been a member of Wesley United Methodist Church. Recently, she was a member of the Blue Grass Presbyterian Church. Louise enjoyed writing her pen pals from all over the world.

Louise is survived by her two sons, Richard Dingler of Blue Grass, and Douglas Dingler and his wife, Deidra, of Colorado; three step-daughters, Jessica, Cecilia, and Valerie; and one brother, E. Karl Reichert.

She is preceded in death by her parents.
