"Marylou, I was shocked to hear about Ross. I'm so sorry and sad. I was going to come to the viewing, but I'm having a biopsy done on Wednesday at Jeff Hosp. and I can't be around possibly infected people because of the COVETVIRUS 19 PANDEMIC. He will be in my prayers. Take care of yourself . Cousin Jeanette (You have a beautiful granddaughter)"

"Ross was our next-door neighbor for over thirty years in Mountain View. During many Summers we were the lucky recipients of his home grown tomatoes and freshly caught (and cleaned) catch-of -the-day. He showed us the secret of cooking bluefish on the grill. Fishing was a passion. On one verrrrry early morning, I ventured down to Port Norris with Ross to going fishing in the bay. We were only out for a short time when a storm came out of nowhere. Ross turned us around trying to beat the worst of the storm to shore. Waves were crashing over the bow soaking us each time. The bay got nasty, wind was howling but there was "Captain" Ross steering his boat with his left hand while trying to light his cigarette with his right. Repeatedly, just after getting one lit, Mother Nature hit Ross in the face with another bucket of sea water. Talk about indomitable spirit! Seeing the look on his face, broken cigarette drooping (and dripping) from his lips was...hysterical. To this day, this minute, it makes me laugh. God Speed Captain Ross. Chub & Zandra "
