Mr. Michael Dennis "Wounded Knee" Shalifoe, age 74, passed away Saturday, October 10, 2020. He was born in Muskegon, MI on December 6, 1945 to Edward & Cecelia (Bailey) Shalifoe and served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War where he was awarded a Purple Heart. He married the former Diane Hackett in 1969 and she preceded him in death in 1987. Mr. Shalifoe had been employed as a Bookkeeper for Muskegon Radiology PC for over 20 years until retiring. Michael was an avid golfer and a member of Lincoln Golf Club. He enjoyed reading, photography, long walks on the beach and his favorite cat, Joey. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

2 sons, Kenneth Bryant of Twin Lake, Michael (Lisa) Bryant of Muskegon; 7 grandchildren, Derek, Zachary, Brittany, Joshua, Dakota, April, Felicia; 1 great-grandchild, Parker; 2 sisters, Charlotte (Jacob) Paszkowski, Bernice Estlund; 4 brothers, Andrew (Wendy) Shalifoe, Maurice "Koko" (Cindy) Shalifoe, Martin (Carol) Shalifoe, Edward Shalifoe; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, brothers Robert & Terry and a sister Madeline

Thursday, October 15, 2020, 1:00 PM at Clock Funeral Home - Muskegon. Internment in Fruitland Township Cemetery.
