Frances J. Turner
December 20, 1932 - October 12, 2020

Frances J. "Fran" Turner, of Sellersville, PA and formerly of Ambler, passed away peacefully the morning of Monday, October 12, 2020 at Grand View Hospital at the age of 87.

Born in Ambler, PA, she is the daughter of the late Dominic and Angelina Rocco. Fran was a loving sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was predeceased in death by her son James A. Turner, Jr. in 2014. She is survived by her devoted children Elizabeth R. Turner of Souderton, PA, and Ronald J. Turner (Judyann) of Horsham, PA. She is the sister of Ida M. "Dolly" Phipps of Ambler and Elizabeth "Betty" Turner of Florida. She is the loving grandmother of ten and great-grandmother of seven.

Fran was born and raised in Ambler, PA with her six sisters and one brother and she attended St. Joseph's grammar school. In her younger years, she worked at Philco Ford building TV parts, which sparked her love for television. Fran married James Turner Sr. and together built a successful trucking company. She was a caring mother and showered her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren with love and attention including teaching her grandchildren the art of coloring in the lines and her favorite card game of 500 rummy. She enjoyed traveling, going out to dinner, and dancing with friends and family. Fran will be greatly missed but remembered with warm memories.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, October 20, 2020, from 9:15 to 10:45 AM at St. Anthony's of Padua Church. Words of Remembrance will begin at 10:45 AM, followed by an 11:00 AM Funeral Mass with Msgr. Stephen P. McHenry, Pastor and Celebrant. Interment will be in Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Prospectville, PA. Mass will be livestreamed beginning at 10:45 AM at the following link: https://livestream.com/saintanthonyparish/events/9360918

At the service, the below items are required due to the COVID pandemic:

• Masks are required for the entire service
• Temperature check upon entry
• Hand sanitizer stations
• We appreciate your hugs and loving gestures but ask you to refrain from physical touch given the current pandemic.
