Christine Simpson, age 58, of La Grange, MO, died Monday, October 12, 2020, at 2:50 a.m. in her home.
Christine was born March 22, 1962 in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, a daughter of Richard and Ruth Myers Rockwell. She married Daniel Simpson on January 13, 1990 in Waco, TX. He survives.
Christine was a 1980 graduate of Quincy High School. Christine had operated her own home daycare in her younger years.
She enjoyed reading and collecting dragons. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandbabies, and taking annual girl trips to Galveston, TX for Mardi Gras with her sister.
In addition to her husband, survivors include three children: Josh (Krissi) Matson of Quincy; Christopher (Julie) Matson of Peoria, IL; and Trent Matson of Lagrange, MO; 14 grandchildren; her sister, Debbie (Steve Cowser) Keefer of Quincy; her brother, Rocky (Becky) Rockwell of Longview, TX; and two nephews: Cody Rockwell and B.J. Keefer.
Christine was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson, Sean Patrick Matson.
Christine was cremated as per her wishes, and there will be no services.
