James Allen Spencer, of Antigo, died Sunday, October 18, 2020, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. He was 72 years old. He was born on August 8, 1948, in Antigo, a son of Thomas and Eva (Antone) Spencer. He married Patricia Koszarek on December 1, 1967, in Rhinelander.
Jim was an independent truck driver for over 30 years. Most recently driving locally for other area trucking companies.
He was a member of the Oneida Nation.
Jim enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. He also enjoyed camping and hunting.
Survivors include his wife, Pat; two sons, James Kenneth (Roxanne) Spencer and Curtis Daniel (Sheree) Spencer; a daughter, Tanya (John) Bazinet all of Antigo; eight grandchildren, Matt (Special friend Ashley Bricko), Haley, Brennen, Erika, Maddie, Gabrielle, Sophia and Justis; two sisters, Debra (Rob) Lindemann and Lynda Spencer; six brothers, Doc (Rose) Spencer, Ron (Sandy) Spencer, Dan Spencer, Bill (Becky) Spencer, Ken (Sue) Pacer and Dave (April) Bedford; sisters-in-law, Rosella Spencer, Margie (Dewain) Reimer, Carol Hauch and Lois Gordy all of Antigo; brothers-in-law, Richard (Cindy) Koszarek of Wausau and Kevin (Lori) Koszarek of South Carolina and
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by sisters, Bonnie and Judith Spencer; brothers, Tom, Randy and Lee Spencer; sisters-in-law, Ann Walters and Mary Koszarek; and brothers-in-law, Daniel and Randy Koszarek, Dennis Hauch and Gene Gordy.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 26 at 2 p.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home. Burial will take place in Bent Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 12 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
