SHERRY LEE MANLEY
MUSCATINE, Iowa - Sherry L. Manley, 72, of Muscatine, passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2020, at UnityPoint Trinity in Muscatine.

There will be no services. As per her wishes, she will be cremated. The Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to the Muscatine Humane Society in memory of Sherry. Online Condolences: www.wittichfuneralhome.com.


Sherry was born on October 22, 1947, in Reading, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Thomas and Marjorie Sadler Alter. She graduated from Webster City High School. Sherry married Merle V. Manley on January 18, 1969, in Muscatine. He preceded her in death on February 15, 2000.

She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. Sherry enjoyed cross-stitching, DIY crafts, traveling, cooking, volunteering at Zion Lutheran Church, shopping, and visiting Colorado. She had a love for animals and had many pets throughout her life. Sherry's final act was to give the gift of tissue donation.

Those left to honor her memory include her children, Michael Manley and his wife, Chrissie, of Firestone, Colorado, and Michelle Richardson and her husband, Scott, of Wilton; five grandchildren, Katie Saunders and her husband, Eddie, of Muscatine, Kinnick Manley and Lila Manley both of Firestone, Colorado, Elizabeth Richardson and Matthew Richardson both of Wilton; and one great granddaughter, Hayden Saunders of Muscatine.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and her husband.
