Siegfried "Siggy" Schonfelder
August 9, 1951 - October 25, 2020

Siegfried "Siggy" Schonfelder, of Antigo, died Sunday, October 25, 2020, at home under the care of LeRoyer Hospice and his family. He was 69 years old. He was born on August 9, 1951, in Germany, a son of Erich and Anna (Heydeman) Schonfelder.

At the age of 8 he immigrated to Australia. He came to the United States in 2010 and was united in marriage to Anne Theisen Wolf on April 18, 2010, at Faith Center Church of God.

He worked as Coordinator in the safe operation of train tracks in Australia. Locally he worked at Pick-N-Save grocery store retiring in 2016.

He was a gifted athlete and competed in bowling and tennis, two sports in which he won many competitions and trophies.

Siggy's favorite thing was doing innocent shenanigan's on people he loved. He enjoyed playing bags at family gatherings, canasta with three special ladies, yahtzee, card night, watching the Green Bay Packers and playing slots on the internet.

He had seven feathered friends he cared for that became his source of pleasure. He also spoiled his furry grandkids Ruby and Oscar.

Siggy will be remembered for his love for others, Australian lingo, quick zingers that made so many laugh, his love of bakery and licorice, and the way he would say "Honey Please"!

Survivors including his wife are a step-daughter, Faye (Jason) Powers, Gleason; a step-son, Peter Wolf, Wausau; five step-grandchildren Aaron, Israel, Isaiah, Ricaye, Kaitlyn; a sister, Ingrid Schonfelder, Australia; three brothers, Bruno, Alby, and his twin, Wilfried all of Australia.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Eric.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2020, at 11 a.m. at Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. Steven Pool officiating.

Visitation will be Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
