Keith Arnold Nicodemus, age 91 of Colfax, passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at the Oskaloosa Care Center. Graveside funeral services will be held on Friday, October 30, 2020 at McKeever Cemetery at 1:00 pm. There will be an open visitation on Thursday, October 29, 2020 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax, The family will not be present during the visitation. Memorials may be directed to the Oskaloosa Care Center and condolences may be left for the family at www.coburnfuneralhomes.com
The adopted son of Ivan and Alta (Signs) Nicodemus, Keith was born on November 28, 1928 in southeast Iowa. He graduated from Colfax High School in 1947. On August 4, 1948, he was united in marriage to Evelyn V. Lind at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. To this union three children were born, Janice, Randy and Dale. Keith proudly served in the United States Air Force enlisting in 1951. He was a lifelong farmer and had various other jobs throughout the years.
Those left to honor his memory include his children, Janice (Larry) Ketelsen, Randy (Denise) Nicodemus and Dale Nicodemus; nine grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and a sister-in-law, Marilyn Lind. Preceding Keith in death were his parents, and his loving wife Evelyn in 2012.
