Peggy S. Gibson, age 61, of Nevada, Iowa, passed away in Clear Lake, Iowa, on Tuesday, October 27, 2020.
Born December 31, 1958, in Waterloo, Iowa, Peggy Sue Gibson was the daughter of William Earl and Patricia Ann (Hartema) Pagel. She grew up and received her education in Cedar Falls. Peggy was employed at Winnebago Industries and most recently made her home in Nevada.
Peggy loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and her nieces and nephews. Peggy had a special place in her heart for her dog, Buddy, who was by her side always. She enjoyed crafts and antiques, shopping, and decorating her home.
Survivors include two children, James (Marci) Gibson of State Center, and Jessica Gibson of California; five grandchildren, Kierra and Kristian Carbajal, Brevon and Maverick Gibson, and Emma Loua Wind; a brother, Paul Pagel of Waverly; two sisters, Pam (Mike) Hanna of Clear Lake, and Doris (Virgil) Butcher of Papillion, NE; as well as many other extended family members and friends.
Ames Monument & Cremation Center has been entrusted with the care of Peggy.
