Glenn Bruce Ingalls, 67, of Rochester died on Thursday, October 29, 2020 at his home in Rochester.
Glenn was born on July 14, 1953 to Gerald and Carol (Kyllo) Ingalls in Rochester. He graduated from Mayo High School in 1972. Glenn was a very kind, generous and ambitious person, which led him to have many successful businesses as an adult. At the age of 16, Glenn became the youngest radio announcer in Minnesota for KOLM in Rochester. As an adult, his businesses included Glenn's Towing Service, Glenn and Jerry's Siding and in December 1991 he started Glenn's Motorcoach Tours. He owned and operated Glenn's Motorcoach Tours until his retirement December 2019. In this occupation he found his real passions which included traveling and interacting with customers, which would never have been possible if he had not been surrounded by his wonderful staff. When asked where his favorite place to go was, he always replied, "Wherever people want to go."
On July 29, 1983 Glenn married Marie Haugen. It was not long after they were married that he adopted her daughter, Renae. He loved being her dad and later a grandpa to her children. Glenn did not have much time for hobbies, but he did love a good game of blackjack and riding his Honda Goldwing trike.
Phil was Glenn's best friend since third grade and was like a brother to him. Over the years they went on many adventures together.
On September 14, 2020 Glenn married the love of his life Kris (Barvels) Mulholland in Branson, MO. They only had 6 weeks and 3 days together as a married couple, but they cherished every minute.
Glenn is survived by his wife, Kris Ingalls; daughter, Renae (Fred) Loth-Birch of Rochester; mother, Carol (Paul) McCaleb-Maass of Rochester; siblings, Nancy Behnken (Mark Bennett) of Rochester, Mark (Lori) Ingalls of Pine Island, Carmen (Don) Giles of Rochester, Todd (Adele) Ingalls of Rochester; three grandchildren, Ashley (Brandon) Mehrkens, Taylor (Chris Hill) Loth and Nate Birch and special friends, Phil and Lorie Wilson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Gerald Ingalls and two brothers, Robert and Roger Ingalls.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. - 1:15 p.m. at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes, 5421 Royal Place NW Rochester, MN 55901. A private family service will be held after the visitation and live streamed on Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes Facebook page. Burial will be at Grandview Memorial Gardens in Rochester.

"Cheryle and Duane Haugen have a great memory of Glenn. Several years ago our family celebrated Christmas with all the relatives at our house and Glenn volunteered to come as Santa Claus. Everyone was so surprised, especially the grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and everyone had their picture taken with Glenn as Santa. It was a fun family day. Blessed is the memory.
