Margaret Johnsen
October 2, 1935 - October 30, 2020

Margaret M Johnsen, of Antigo, died Friday, October 30, 2020, at The Bay at Eastview Medical and Rehabilitation Center. She was 84 years old. She was born on October 2, 1936, in Stevens Point, a daughter of Alvin and Laura (Frydach) Laska.

She attended St. Michaels grade school in Wausau and graduated from Wausau High School in 1954.

After high school Marge worked in the office of Grand Motor Company in Wausau for a year. She married Cliff Johnsen on December 31, 1955, at St. Michaels Parish. They live in Platteville from 1955 until 1963 when they returned to Wausau. In 1968 they moved to Antigo where Marge worked as a bookkeeper and payroll clerk at Langlade Memorial Hospital from April 1969 to August 1980. Marge and Cliff moved to San Angelo, Texas in 1980. Marge worked for GTE in accounting until May 1987 when they retired and returned to Antigo.

Survivors include two daughters, Ann Basken, Antigo, Carolyn Johnsen and significant Other Fred Kaske, Antigo; a son, Allan (Kathy) Johnsen, Rothschild; five grandchildren, Sarah Kaske, Erin (Corey) Lundgren, Seth (Jolene) Kaske, Monica Glaeser, Jessica Johnsen; three great-grandchildren, Brenna, Ilah and Asher Lundgren; two sisters, Lorraine Hornung and Elizabeth Booth; one brother Gerald (Kathy) Laska.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 2011, a son-in-law, Ron Basken in 2012; several brothers and sisters.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 17, 2020, at 1 p.m. at Elmwood Cemetery.

Bradley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
