Joan Harrison Brady, age 63, of Ambler, PA., died Tuesday November 3, 2020.
Born in Abington, Joan was the daughter of the late Charles and Julia (nee Capezio) Harrison. She grew up in Glenside and was a 1974 graduate of Abington High School. She received a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism from Temple University. She was self-employed as a Market Research Analyst.
Summer was her favorite season and she enjoyed spending sunny days at the pool. Her happiest times were spent with her dear grandson, her "peanut" Nathan.
Joan is survived by her beloved husband and best friend, Gerald Brady. She is the devoted mother of Erin Janssens of North Wales, and Megan Brady (fiancee Nick Thoma) of Pittsburgh. Joan is the proud and loving grandmother of Nathan Janssens. She is the dear sister of Geraldine Mooney (Joseph), and Marian Uba (the late Stephen), and Aunt to many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her twin sister Judith Morrin, and her brother in law Stephen Uba.
