Fred J Notinokey

Fred J. Notinokey, of Neopit, died Saturday, November 7, 2020, at his home. He was 73 years old. He was born on March 22, 1947, in Keshena, a son of Benjamin and Helen (Shawano) Notinokey. He married Marlene Weso in June of 1968. She preceded him in death on August 1, 2004.
Fred served in the United States Army. He was a lumber inspector at Menominee Tribal Enterprises for 40 years.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary (James) Volcy of Shawano; a son, Thomas (special friend Dakota) Notinokey of Shawano; seven grandchildren, Jessica (Jesse) Neumann of Shawano, Nathaniel (special friend Autumnbela) Notinokey of Neopit, Shaina (Lonnie) Delabrue, Alexander Noriega, Dominick Notinokey, Kyle Notinokey, Kruz Notinokey, and Kayden Notinokey all of Shawano; four great-grandchildren, Kayleb, Kaylee, Jaylen, and Cassie; two sisters, Priscilla Thunder of Middle Village and Mary L. Notinokey of Keshena; two brothers, Kelvin Notinokey and Roger Shawano both of Shawano.
In addition to his wife he was preceded in death by a son, Barry; three daughters in infancy, Tammy, Shawn, and Baby Girl; a brother, David Notinokey; and two sisters, Christabel Notinokey and Agnes Shawano.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 11 at 11 a.m. at Menominee Orthodox Presbyterian Church in Zoar. A wake will be held at Fred's residence starting Monday at 4 p.m. until the time of service on Wednesday.
