Elmer Greiner Sr. used to ring my father daily to check up on him and shortly after Elmer's death Nick rang my father to say that he would take up that responsibility, completely unasked. His thoughtfulness and consideration for others are greatly appreciated, and our whole family extends our heartfelt condolences to Nick's family."

"Deb, Bernie & family: I will always remember my cousin Nick for his farm hand skills, wearing bibs, tractor knowledge, enjoying the fairs, and chatting with people. Where ever there was a tractor or family gathering, Nick was there. He found the love of his life, companion, and life long friend when he married Deb. They spent valuable time together when they traveled on their weekend jaunts through the country side. They went on a surprised trip to England because of Nick's chit chatting with a BBC reporter. I remember once I brought mom down to the farm to visit. While we were there Nick helped me get a couple rocks. Our rock adventure ended when I spotted a snake in the creek's water. Nick, you touched many lives and we miss you. Love you - cousin Carolyn."
