"I can truly say that Andy was very unique. He had a very kind heart. He would kid me saying you are the only person that really scares me. I asked him why, since he was the strong military type and I was a grandmother and a woman unarmed. Then he would give me a hug. He is really missed. I am keeping you dear Charmin in my prayers. Shelia "

"My friendship with Andrew came from a relationship at the PBA where he represented Amano for our cashier's booth equipment. I believe I have known him for about 8 years, seeing him on almost a weekly basis, either on an emergency call or when he just needed to kill some time and visit with me at my garage. Our friendship grew during that time, culminating in a special time of prayer together after I was diagnosed with prostate cancer in late 2018 and treatments through early 2019. One special day occurred when, during his visit, we separated from the booth for a few minutes and he earnestly prayed for me, holding hands together over in the corner of the garage. I'm sure he shed some tears and so did I. While others were also praying for me (I recovered after Radiation treatments), that was a special time together for showing me a very private side of his life and personality, and cemented our friendship to something far beyond just a work-related one. Though now retired from the PBA since the beginning of October, and since I haven't seen him in person since then, we did have one conversation on the phone when I informed him that I was leaving, and that we hoped to "get together" at some point out side of work. Sadly, this did not occur, and we'll have to wait until seeing each other in Heaven to determine who pays for lunch! Blessings and comfort to the family! Bill Gosling"

" Charmin, We are shocked and saddened by Andy's passing. We have so many wonderful memories from our time serving together. He touched so many people's hearts wherever he went. It's actually quite appropriate that he passed on Veterans Day. He was always one of my best NCO's but more importantly, was always a True Friend."
