Justina Lightman Goldstein, was born in Nashville, Tennessee as an identical twin on December 29, 1928, and passed away on Friday, November 13, 2020.
Justina "Jo Jo" enjoyed working as a bank executive for many years in Nashville, TN, and in Houston, TX. Also, Mah Jongg, a synagogue volunteer, and her stock club. They all served as a great source of enjoyment.
Jo Jo was preceded in death by her husband the love of her life for over 67 years, Sheldon Goldstein; her parents, Edna and Edward Lightman; twin sister, Rowena, and her husband Martin Levy; her sister Peggy and her husband, Millard Cohen. Jo is survived by her adoring daughter, Mila, and her husband, Michael Milo; and her grandson, Gordon Thal who affectionately referred to her as Gam. She is also survived by many loving cousins and friends.
A private graveside service was held at 11:30 AM on Sunday, November 15, 2020, at Beth Yeshurun Post Oak. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
