Curtis Richardson
Havana- Curtis Richardson, 72, of Havana, passed away Saturday, November 14, 2020 at His home in Havana.
He was born on July 4, 1948, to Oliver Richardson and Versie (Creason). They both preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife Pamella "Pam" (McMahill) Richardson, whom he married on March 16, 2006 in mason County.
Also surviving is four children, Stephanie (Scott Rush) Richardson, Stephanie (Stephen Redmond) Buckley, Aimee (CJ) Rilea, and Kacie Jo (David) Voigt, one sister Geraldine "Dene" (Jim) Thomas, nine grandchildren, Brennen, Paul IV, Alissa Jo "Jojo", Austin, Trisha, Chloe, Zoe, Kylie Jo and Ashlyn, and two great grandchildren, Isaac and Juliet.
Also preceding him in death is one daughter, Tina Marie Richardson, one granddaughter Haley Jones, three brothers, Joseph, Chubby "Leroy", and George, and one sister Ann Boyer.
Curtis was a Veteran of the United States Army he actively served in the Vietnam War from 1969 until 1971. He was a lifelong member of the Havana VFW # 6408.
He first worked for Rich's Lumber and then later for Sematar Lumber.
He also owned and operated Pat's Tap in Havana for 38 years until he passed the business along to his daughter Stephanie.
Curt was always a jokester, and he enjoyed his Thursday mornings at the Courthouse, but most of all he was the world's greatest grandpa to everyone.
Graveside services have been postponed until the spring of 2021
