Mary Jane Cozzie Rowen, formerly of Lansdale, died peacefully on November 18, 2020 at the Artman Home in Ambler, PA. She was 94 years old.
Born in Ambler to Vincenzo and Adele (Eliseo) Fragasse.
Mary was lovingly known to her family as Dolly.
Dolly attended Ambler High School. She was employed for many years by Philco Ford in Lansdale.
Dolly married the love of her life Albert Cozzie in 1948. They were married for 23 short years. Albert passed away in January 1970. Dolly carried their wedding picture with her for the rest of her life. She was a woman of great courage and dignity, setting a great example for all those around her.
Dolly enjoyed gardening, trips to the Jersey Shore, spending time with her family and cooking. One of her favorites was preparing the large Italian traditional Christmas Eve dinner and celebration.
Dolly was predeceased by her sister Norma Bocchino, brother and sister in law Victor and Erna Fragasse, brothers in law Frank Cucchiara and Frank Serrao, and in laws Vito and Nancy Cozzie. She is survived by her sons James Cozzie (Kathleen) of Sherrills Ford, NC and Robert Cozzie (Karen) of Lenhartsville, PA. She is the dear sister of Lena Cucchiara and Jean Serrao. Dolly is the loving grandmother of Linsey, Travis (Naomi) and Logan Cozzie, Bobbie Jo and Christie Cozzie-Nester, and great grandmother of Molly and Abilene Jane Cozzie.
Mary's Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at St. Stanislaus Church, 51 Lansdale Ave, Lansdale, PA 19446. Interment will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
