"Sending sincere condolences. May you all find each day a little easier with the memories of your precious loved one. I grew up with Greg in the youth department at Prayer. Although, he was older, we did go on many activities. One that stands out the most, is on our way to church camp, Greg fell asleep on the bus, while I painted his fingernails. Yep, when he awoke when we stopped to eat. When he realized what had happened, he tried to scrape it off. It was pretty funny. I thought that may give you all a little laugh. He was fun to be around. Keep his memories with you always. You will see him again one day."

"I met Greg when Quentin and Carol graciously agreed to temporarily house our family on a furlough from Mexico missions. Greg was a consumate tease, had an infectious laugh, and had eyes that beamed a zest for life. While he bounced around full of energy, he had a serious and quiet side which may have surprised some...he was a thinker. Always the life of the party, loyal as a friend. Greg, thank you for the opportunity to get to know you, thank you for sharing your family with me. May God undergird your family as you enjoy His presence. David Rogers"

"I recently learned the sad news of our long time friend and neighbor, Greg York?s (son of Carol and Quentin York) passing! He grew up in the same neighborhood where we lived, and during the early 80?s became the oversized playmate and leader extraordinaire of the swimming pool gang at our house. He took time to teach all the children the necessary pool games and created new and awesome diving board and sliding board techniques to perfection. And the activity didn?t end at dark, he would continue playing until everyone had their fill and were completely worn out! Then it was PIZZA time! He was a real good pizza eater and ?pop? drinker, and at about 6? tall as a teenager, was looked up to by all the neighborhood gang as their playtime teacher and fearless leader! And loved by all! I appreciate his loving memory and I felt a great loss at the news of his passing! God rest his soul!"
