It is with a heavy heart that we announce the death of Laura Anderson. Laura Lee Anderson, aged 69, passed away on Wednesday, November 18, 2020. She was born February 18, 1951 in Monroe, Michigan, the daughter of Emmett Ray and Mary Elizabeth Moore. Laura graduated from Muskegon High School in 1969 and in 1973 she gave birth to her son, Kristafer Karl Anderson of North Muskegon. She worked for many years as a cashier at Meijer, as assistant manager at West Shore Credit Union, and in the accounting department at Pliant Plastics. Her battle with multiple sclerosis forced her to retire. She was known for her effervescent personality, creativity, and her love of children, animals, and a good laugh. Her son and grandchildren were the light of her life.
SURVIVORS
She is survived by her son Kristafer and grandchildren Kelly Sue, Kyle Kristafer and Kora Jade Anderson, as well as sisters Linda G. Moore of Grand Haven, Lois A. Drake (Ken Dow) of Muskegon, Lisa J. Scott of Twin Lake, Lynellen K. (Richard) Nielsen of New Rochelle, NY, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Emmet R. Moore, Francis D. Scott and Mary E. Scott
