"As a kid, I always looked up to Burke and his brother Charles. They were a few years older but way cooler than I was. I remember always trying to glean some sort of secret on how to be cool or learn something just by being around them. One of the last times I saw Burke was as an adult a few years ago - and I remember again thinking he was really a great and talented guy. I was always so impressed with how good he was with his hands and seemingly able to make anything. I've always admired that. Burke was a great guy, a great son, and a great father. He will be lovingly missed by all. Rest in peace cousin."

Burke Eugene Booth, age 55, of Detroit, MI, Passed away on November 13, 2020. Beloved husband of Cheryl Slatinsky. Loving father of Nicholas (Kristin) Slatinsky, and David Booth. Cherished grandfather of Karli Slatinsky. Dear son of Carolyn Booth. Dear brother of Johnny Barley, and Charles Booth.
Burke was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Booth, and his beloved dog pudge.
A memorial service will be held in his honor on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 from 10:00 am until 1:00 PM, and Chas Verheyden Funeral Home- Risko Chapel, 7100 Michigan Ave. Detroit, MI 48210. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, only ten visitors will be allowed in at a time.
