Tributes

Delores Strassburger Ritchie wrote on Nov 30, 2020:

"Bill was my hero growing up. It was my privilege to witness Linda and Bill share a love affair that lasted a lifetime. Linda and all her family are in my heart and prayers."

Jean Burrington wrote on Nov 24, 2020:

"Linda, I was sorry to read of your husband's death and I extend my sympathy. I did not get to say a god bye to you before you left Charter House, as David was in the throes of dying. It is a sad time to lose someone, but even sadder when family and friends cannot be with you. I had David's body cremated and will have a burial at sea, when that is possible. Thinking of you in your new home in Florida."

Nancy (Ritchie) Nanos wrote on Nov 23, 2020:

"Remembering when Ken and I went for a bike ride, crossing some water and showing up at Uncle Bill's office and getting a lift home in the middle of the day. Our families shared a special night at Shakey's watching the cook toss the pizza dough in the air. You introduced me to triscuts, melted cheese and japolenos and then years later we enjoyed Mexican food and a beer when I travel to Dallas/Ft. Worth on business and introduced you to Alex. My mom has always shared her love and adoration for her big brother. Wishing Aunt Linda, Stephanie, Madeline, Erin, Laura Lee, Ken, Julie and Mary much strength during this difficult time. I hope you feel surrounded by much love as you reflect and celebrate Uncle Bill's life. "

Toni Ritchie wrote on Nov 23, 2020:

"Condolences to Linda and all the Strassburgers from Toni Ritchie, CANADA. It was a wonderful thing to witness the love between Bill and Linda and their dedication to mother, Florence, Bill's support and protection for sister Delores from the time she was a young girl and their shared pride and dedication to their children and grandchildren."
