"I am heart broken. Gina was a role model and mentor to me in our youth. Despite moving away, I often thought about her and the kindness that she has shown me through the years, as well as the laughs we shared. Gina, you teased me for wearing ankle bracelets because they were childish. And I teased you for believing that your father had sprinkled snake repellent powder into your family?s pond when you were a child. Something you didn?t discover was untrue until you were an adult. So many wonderful memories shared with you my friend. My life has been better because of knowing you. Rest In Peace String Beana Gina. "

She was one of those handful of individuals who truly found her passion in her life?s work. She certainly also had a strong love for her family. I?ll never forget the time she walked out of my office during a performance review because of her passion around finding employment for a family member. She LOVED her sons. She displayed that same all in passion every day at work and will be sorely missed at Ameren and by the many organizations she worked with.
