"I worked with Jody at Yellow, she was a co-worker then my supervisor and worked diligently to be the best at both. Mostly, she was full of pride for her children and family, beaming when she spoke of them. Her big heart and personality will be missed. Rest in peace Jody."

"I?ve known Jody since 1978. My Grandpa built a lake house on Black Hawk Lake in Lake View Iowa. Jody?s parents had a lake house down the street. I grew up in Ames Iowa about 100 miles from lake view. Jody and I would always check to see if either one of us was up visiting the Lake for the weekend. Both our parents owned boats. Jody?s Dad had the fastest Jet Boat on the Lake. Jody also had a Jet ski, so we had fun with Boating and Jet skiing in the Summer months growing up. Jody was a few years older than me and when she turned 16 got a Pontiac Sunbird for her Birthday and later a Trans Am. I?m not sure if her Parents really knew where she was all the time after getting the new car. She would come to Ames occasionally to visit me about a 50-mile drive from Jefferson Iowa where she grew up. As we all know, Jody was a Very Sweet likable person and fit in with my friends effortlessly. We as a car full of friends, went to about every concert in Ames & Des Moines with Jody. I would say 90% of the concerts where on a school night. I always made it to school somehow. The show?s in Des Moines had to be a very late night for Jody. She would drop us off in Ames about a 40-mile drive from Des Moines and have another hour drive back to Jefferson. I never asked if she made it to school the next day. After Jody got married, I didn?t see her very much, but we stayed in touch with an occasional phone call every once in a while. Jody was the nicest person who would do anything for anyone. She is truly missed by all that have known her. Prayers to Jody?s Family! "
