Rich was a beloved dad, brother, grandpa, uncle and friend! He was generous, hardworking, warm and welcoming, greeting everyone that came over with a cold Bud Light, he would never let your beer go warm or empty, a true host!

He loved to garden and cook, you would never go hungry, he would prepare 50 pancakes or 10lbs of spaghetti for 5 people!

He was sarcastic, a great story teller and jokester. Anyone who was lucky enough to know him and spend time with him was guaranteed a good time! He laughed A LOT and he had the BEST laugh.

He loved to entertain, especially on the 4th of July! He anxiously awaited the fireworks show, sometimes lighting a few off in the day light!

Rich was truly one of a kind and lived his absolute best life! The world is dulled without the light of Rich. I know he's reuniting with his friends and family, greeting them with a cold Bud Light!

We encourage his friends and family to leave their favorite stories and memories of Rich! These stories and memories bring comfort!

Rich was laid to rest December 18, 2020 at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Surrounded by a small intimate gathering of family. A date for his celebration of life is yet to be determined but will likely be in the springtime in Northern Minnesota. Please check back for updates!
