Wilma Amanda Sophia Edler was born on August 17, 1908 in Cedar County, Iowa the daughter of Fred nd Shopia Helmold Edler. She attended rural schools and Tipton Consolidated School. Wilma married Herman Henry Paustian on February 22, 1929 in Clarence. Wilma worked as a cook for Bennett School’s and the I-80 Truck Stop at Walcott. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Tipton, various card clubs and she enjoyed playing bingo. Wilma’s family includes two daughters, Norma Riedesel and Wylene and husband Lawrence Hostler all of Tipton, two sons, Dallas Paustian and wife, Marlene of Anamosa and Dennis Paustian and wife, Dianne of Durant, two sisters, Melinda Daude of Tipton and Pauline Clark of Davenport, one brother, Fred Edler of Tipton, twelve grandchildren, twenty six great-grandchildren, two step-great grandchildren, fourteen great great-grandchildren and two step-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three sisters, Ella, Martha and Alma and four brothers, Bill, Otto, Fred, and Elmer.
