"I just learned about Berta?s passing and send my sincerest condolences to her family. I met her as a patient at TBI. Berta was always kind to me. She was patient when I was concerned about things and helped me through so much of my issues. Berta and I would waste time during my appointments ?fixing? the Dallas Cowboys and giving Dr. Bosita a hard time about his incorrect sports opinions. I will miss her as a friend and as an advocate for my issues. She was truly a wonderful person. "

"Berta was my medical assistant when I first finished my spine training and started my practice in Dallas. While I knew about spine surgery, I had a lot to learn about taking care of people. Berta took me under her wing and showed me how to help people through challenging and disabling spine problems and get them back to health after surgery. Im honestly not sure what I would have done if I hadn't had her to help guide me in the beginning of my practice. We were partners in that way. Although its been a while, I have not forgotten how important she was to me or the people we took care of, and Im thankful for everything she taught me. Im sure she is out there somewhere in the ether, with her unforgettable laugh and kind nurturing spirit, looking after others... Andrew"

"I know Berta from work... EVERY time Berta and I passed each other in the halls or ran into each other in the "Back Room," we spoke to each other... every time. And, 9/10 times, we left giggling about something... but, she never walked in without saying hello at least...it's just who she was, every time. Thank you Berta, for the kindness that you've shown me since I first met you over 8 years ago. I admire your ability to make anyone and everyone feel welcomed. You are a beautiful soul, always... "

The love and sorrow I see throughout the office here at TBI is only a mere glimpse into the beauty of your spirit and character. The love and compassion you have shown others is proven by those you left behind. It was a pleasure to cross paths with you in this life and may you be blessed in the next.
