"Dear Irene and John, I was so saddened to hear of your Mom's recent passing. She was a sweet, caring person and as you both know, along with your Dad and Nick and Josephine were like a big, loving, extended Italian family for me growing up. The times spent at the "farm" with your parents still remain for me as some of my best childhood memories. Please accept my heartfelt condolences and may you and families cherish all the good times you shared with your Mom. Most Sincerely, Alan Adin"

"Irene, John and family, We were deeply saddened to hear of your dear sweet mom?s passing. We have such treasured memories of your entire family growing up in our wonderful neighborhood. She was such a devoted, caring friend to our mom, and for that we will be eternally grateful! They shared both laughter and tears over countless years. Whenever I spoke to your mom, she was always loving and honest, as well as humble and genuine with an evident deep faith in Jesus. She simply adored her children and grandchildren and loved sharing the latest news about them! She was truly one of the nicest, most gentle people I ever met without a doubt! Her lovely picture with her beaming smile and sparkling eyes is just how we remember her. She certainly made a difference in this world and was surely a blessing to everyone she knew! We will never forget her! May the love of God give each of you comfort, strength, hope and peace. Fondly, John and Cynthia (Kirk) Garcia & family "

"Dear Irene and John, I just want to you to know the fond memories I have of your mom and the "Pumpkin Palace" as we called the Crown St. Administration Building. Your mom had to be very humble for me not to know she was a pianist and could speak foreign languages! She was a good person, kind, helpful and dedicated to her job in the school district! You chose a beautiful picture of her! Irene, until we meet again, rest in peace with God's love and that of Mary, His Mother! Love, Jeannie"
