"Aunt Eva was a beautiful woman inside and out. She had a wonderful sense of humor. i remember spending nights there in Cottekill in the old farm house, the barn dance many years ago. I remember being there in July and we played Christmas carrolls. I'll always remember her calling for us kids, "YOOHOO". So many wonderful memories. And when she and Dad were together they were like two little kids, giggling and laughing. Now Heaven is celebrating her arrival You were the best Aunt Eva! Love, Eileen"

"Aunt Eva, You taught me grace in the face of adversity, compassion instead of judgement, and above all, faith, gratitude and hope. You were a guiding light in the defining moments of my childhood, and throughout so many moments in my life. I treasure the little notes you would send, and I smile at the memories of so many good times at your house. You gave us all unconditional love and acceptance, introduced us to wheat germ, and shared your love of butter, gardening and your disregard for one way streets. Thank you for all your gifts... rest easy in heaven with those you love. God Bless... Maria"

"When I think of Aunt Eva, my heart beams with fullness. She had that effect on people. She never knew she had limitations or challenges... at least she never acted as though she did. I feel blessed to have known her- to have felt special in her presence as so many others did. She will forever have an impact on me. No doubt, the skies have gained an Angel and I?m quite sure those that were closest to her will forever feel her presence. May you all find comfort in this time of loss. Sending love, Gina D. (Greg?s 1st wife)"
