Victoria "Vikki" Lee Stafford, age 63, of Lakewood, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2020, at Israel Family Hospice House in Ames, following a recent cancer diagnosis.
Born February 6, 1957, in Cleveland, Ohio, Victoria Lee Stafford was the daughter of Alexander "Sandy" John and Phyllis June (Feighner) Darroch. She grew up in Ohio, where she attended Lakewood High School.
Vikki and Lyman's marriage was blessed with their three children, Alexander, SarahBelle, and Rachel.
As a mother, Vikki loved her children with all of herself. She was selfless in her generosity and forgiveness. She will be missed and her memory cherished. Vikki was a devoted Catholic. In earlier years, she enjoyed being a Sunday and catechism teacher, her involvement in the PTA, and her time as a Girl Scout leader.
Survivors include Lyman Stafford; their children, Alexander Stafford of Cleveland, OH, SarahBelle Stafford of Dorset, OH, and Rachel Stafford of Wickliffe, OH; two grandchildren, Jesse Allen Harnist, and Rosalie Hope Stafford; her step-father, Robert Basen of Rocky River, OH; two brothers, Patrick (Karen) Darroch of Lakewood, OH, and Kenneth Darroch of Cleveland, OH; a half-brother, Dennis Basen of Ohio; as well as nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.
Vikki was preceded in death by her mother; father; her first husband, Gary Shafer; and a half-brother, Robert Basen.
Ames Monument & Cremation Center has been entrusted with the care of Victoria and her family. Memorial services will be held in Ohio at a future date. Condolences may be expressed online at www.amesmonument.com.
