In loving memory of

Piper Austin

My dearly beloved skinny pig Piper passed away suddenly in December 2020. Piper was a female hairless guinea pig (skinny pig) who was very much loved and adored by me. I've had Piper since she was about 2 months old.

Piper was my favorite out of the six guinea pigs I have. Whenever I held Piper, she made a soft purring sound. I will miss that sound. When it was veggie time, Piper would stand up on her hind legs and start chewing on the bars of the cage until she got her lettuce. Piper demanded carrots and parsley too. She also loved her pellets and timothy hay. Piper enjoyed treats and she got plenty of healthy treats to keep her happy.

I just loved Piper's personality. She was very used to being picked up and cuddled with, although she still scurried away when I went to get her out of the cage. Piper was affectionate and friendly. She was such a good girl and got along well with my other guinea pigs, although she did have a bit of a 'tude when she wanted her way.

Piper will always be remembered as a cute, adorable, cuddly, happy and feisty skinny pig. I love you and miss you so much, Piper.

Rest in Peace Piper. You have crossed the Rainbow Bridge and are now with your skinny pig girlfriends Precious, Sage, and Trixie. Thank you for being with me for five and a half years. Thank you for letting me be your mom, Piper.
