HIGH FALLS... Eric "Nip" William Borchert Jr., 83, of Rock Hill Road died suddenly Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at home. Born July 19, 1937 in Larksville, PA he was the son of the late Eric and Marion Borchert.
He graduated from Larksville Highschool, Class of 1955 and then served his country in the US Marine Corps. After his honorable discharge he studied at the University of California before receiving his Bachelor's Degree from Kings College in PA and later his Master's Degree from SUNY New Paltz. Nip was a history teacher of J.W. Bailey and Kingston High School for over 30 years. Loved by both faculty and students. His passions were hunting, fishing and gardening. He was a diehard Philadelphia fan with his love of the Eagles, Flyers, and Phillies. He was devoted to his children, grandchildren and great grandchild.
Predeceased by his beloved wife of 59 years Judith "Jude" Borchert. Survivors include his 2 Sons: Eric Jason Borchert of Hurley and Thomas Jeffrey (Evelyn) Borchert of High Falls. 6 Grand Children: Tyler, Joshua, Daniela, Morgan, Kirstin, and Sophia. 1 Great grandchild: Mason. One brother Arthur Borchert and one sister Ellen Boyer.
